PA Training was established in 1992 as a private training provider specialising in SVQs in the care sector. Currently, we deliver Children's Care, Learning and Development SVQs and Health and Social Care SVQs at levels 2, 3 and 4 in Edinburgh and the Borders. Funded places are available with inductions taking place on an ongoing basis. We also deliver Modern Apprenticeships and Skillseekers programs for Scottish Enterprise. As an established business with a great deal of experience, we work in partnership with a growing number of employers. There is also a good foundation of workplace assessors and many successful candidates some of whom in turn have themselves become assessors or mentors. We also offer peripatetic assessors, depending on the needs of employers and candidates.
Our aim is to offer a quality personal service and to make the achievement of SVQs a pleasurable and valuable experience. The systems employed are designed to ensure that the qualifications are achieved with minimum disruption to the workplace and we strive to ensure our candidates reach their potential. Together, this has resulted in high achievement rates and many success stories.
